Exam Pattern for CBSE Class 10 Maths for Board Exam 2024
The exam pattern refers to the structure and format of an examination which outlines the types of questions, marks distribution, time duration, and any other exam-related details. By knowing the exam pattern, students can effectively plan and strategize their preparation and practise time management skills for the best result in exam. CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Exam 2024 will be conducted based on the revised exam pattern. Students will be given more competency-based questions to solve that will majorly include MCQs, assertion & reasoning, case studies or source based integrated questions.
There will be a total of 38 questions divided into 5 sections as per the following division scheme:
- Section A - 20 MCQs of 1 mark each
- Section B - 5 short answer questions (I) of 02 marks each.
- Section C - 6 short answer questions (II) of 03 marks each.
- Section D - 4 long answer questions of 05 marks each.
- Section E - 3 case based questions of 04 marks each.
