IBPS PO 2023 Exam Date

IBPS PO exam date 2023 has been released by IBPS along with its annual calendar for the Prelims and Mains exam. The Prelims shall be held on 23rd, 30th September and 01st October while Mains is scheduled for 5th November 2023. The IBPS PO vacancy has been notified by IBPS along with the notification. A total of 3049 vacancies have been released for the 11 participating banks. IBPS PO Admit Card 2023 

Get the direct link to download the IBPS Admit Card 2023 here. The admit card serves as an important document for any candidate who will be appearing for the IBPS PO exam 2023 for Prelims. The call letter consists of the important details related to the exam such as exam date, exam timing, reporting time, candidate's details etc. Candidates must carry only the print out copy of the IBPS PO admit card. Candidates should also carry an original ID proof and a photocopy of the same with the their passport-size photograph.

IBPS PO 2023 Application Fee

It is mandatory for every candidate to pay the application fee as per their category to successfully submit their IBPS PO application form. The IBPS PO application fee is as follows:

IBPS PO 2023 Eligibility Criteria - Age Limit, Qualification

The IBPS PO eligibility criteria consist of fulfilling the age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria for IBPS PO exam will be disqualified from the appointment. 

Nationality/Citizenship for IBPS PO Exam

A candidate must be either:

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently

settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Additionally, candidates belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above should have a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India. 

IBPS PO Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years, as on October 1, 2021. Check the upper age relaxation for different categories:

IBPS PO Educational Qualification

A graduation degree is required in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates in their final year of graduation are not eligible to fill the application form.

IBPS PO 2023 Selection Process

The IBPS PO selection process is a three-phased process involving – Prelims, Mains & Interview. Candidates who qualify in the Prelims exam shall be called for the IBPS PO Mains exam. Finally, candidates who clear both Prelims and Mains will be called for the IBPS PO Interview. The selection of candidates for the post of IBPS PO or MT will be done on the basis of their performance in the Mains exam and Interview round.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 

IBPS PO prelims exam comprises three sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. There is a sectional timing of 20 minutes for each section. Thus, the entire IBPS PO Prelims exam is for a duration of 1 Hour. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer by the candidate. The IBPS PO Prelims exam pattern is as follows:

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2023

IBPS PO Mains exam pattern consists of both objective and descriptive questions. The objective apper for IBPS PO are Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. On the other hand, the desccriptie paper shall be the English Language paper that will be a Letter Writing and Essay paper. The total duration of the IBPS PO exam is 3 hours 30 minutes and total marks is 225.

IBPS PO Interview

The last stage of the IBPS PO exam is the interview that is for 100 marks. Only those candidates are eligible to appear for the interview who qualify the Mains exam. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40% and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates.
