ISC Syllabus 2024 for Class 12th Board Exam

ISC Class 12 Syllabus 2024: On June 2, 2023, CISCE issued a notification about making available the revised syllabus of various 12th class subjects for 2023-24. Therefore, the students in the 2024 batch must prepare based on the latest syllabus modifications. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the syllabus and curriculum details for the CISCE candidates going to appear in the ISC Class 12 examinations in the 2023-24 year. The syllabus, both revised and the ones that are unchanged, are available on cisce.org. Along with the syllabus, the Council has also provided the regulation details for the 2023-2024 academic session. 

  • All candidates for the Examination must enter for English (compulsory), with three, four or five elective subjects.
  • The following subject combinations are not permitted for the ISC Examination:
(i) Physics with Engineering Science.
(ii) Geometrical & Mechanical Drawing with Geometrical & Building Drawing.
  • A candidate may not enter for more than six subjects including the compulsory subject English.
  • No candidate shall offer a subject in Class XII which they have not studied in Class XI.

ISC Class 12 Revised Syllabus for Selected Subjects

On June 02, 2023 CISCE has released the notification regarding the updates/revision done in some selected ISC Class 12 subjects. The revision is introduced based on National Educational Policy 2020 recommendations. Main subjects of Science, Art, and Commerce, like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Accounts, Maths etc. faced the revision.
