SSC GD 2024 Exam Latest Updates

The Staff Selection Commission will soon announce the SSC GD result 2024 on ssc.gov.in. The candidates can expect the result to be announced by 15th July 2024. Once the result is declared the candidates will be able to check their scorecard it by logging in with their registration ID and password. Along with the result PDF, the Commission will also release the category wise SSC GD cut off.

SSC GD answer key 2024 was declared by the Commission on 3rd April 2024. The candidates who appeared for the exam were supposed to download the answer key and raise objections from 3rd to 10th April 2024. The SSC GD answer key link was active only up to 10th April.

The Staff Selection Commission completed the SSC GD re exam for the exam venues and exam dates mentioned in the latest SSC GD notice. The re exam was held on 30th March 2024. Only those candidates who appeared earlier in the computer-based Based Exam will be permitted to appear in the re-examination on 30th March. The SSC GD exam was conducted on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th February and 1st, 5th, and 7th March 2024. Through this exam, a total of 26146 Constable posts will be filled up. SSC is expected to declare the provisional SSC GD answer key on its website by 20th March.

SSC GD 2024 notification was released by SSC on its website for the post of SSC General Duty in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR and SSF. SSC GD 2024 Exam Date

SSC has declared the SSC GD Constable exam date 2024. Having known about the exam date gives the SSC GD Constable exam aspirants enough time to prepare a strategy to crack the exam. The SSC GD Constable result 2024 PDF will be released by the Staff Selection Commission on its website which is ssc.gov.in. The merit list will be published in PDF format on the SSC website. To check the result scorecard, one would be required to login using his/her SSC registration number and password.

SSC GD Admit Card 2024

SSC shall release the SSC GD 2024 admit card for re exam on its website. The admit card shall be released separately for the regions for which the admit card is supposed to be released, i.e. for CR, NR, NER, ER, WR regions. Once the admit card link shall be activated soon on the SSC regional website.

SSC GD Answer Key 2024

The SSC will be releasing the SSC GD answer key 2024 on its website soon for the SSC GD Tier 1 exam. SSC GD Eligibility Criteria 2024

SSC GD eligibility criteria consist of fulfilling the age limit and educational qualification as prescribed by the SSC. The details regarding the SSC GD Constable eligibility are as follows:

SSC GD Educational Qualification (As on 01-01-2024)

Candidates applying for GD Constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen should have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.

SSC GD Age Limit (As on 01-01-2024)

The age limit of the candidates for SSC GD is 18 to 23 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005. Age relaxation is applicable to those candidates who belong to the reserved categories.

SSC GD Selection Process

SSC GD selection process consists of a written exam, physical efficiency test, physical standard test, detailed medical exam and document verification. SSC GD Exam Pattern (New)

SSC GD exam is an objective exam consisting of four sections to it. The sections include General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. The exam is held in online mode for a total of 160 marks. Candidates have to attempt a total of 80 questions that has to be completed in 1 Hour. There is a negative marking of 0.50 per question for every incorrect answer marked by you.
